Submission Guide
We invite student researchers to submit their AI-related manuscripts to the Journal of Student Artificial Intelligence. Please follow these steps to ensure your submission meets our guidelines. There is no submission fee.
Step 1: Prepare Your Manuscript
​The following types of papers are accepted for submission:​​​​

Original Research Papers: Comprehensive reports that contribute new findings to the field through rigorous data collection, analysis, and interpretation. These papers should include a full introduction, detailed methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion to ensure replicability and a deep understanding of the research conducted.
Maximum 8,000 words
Review Articles: Scholarly evaluations that synthesize and critically analyze existing literature on a specific topic. These articles should not only summarize existing work but also identify prevailing trends, highlight major gaps in knowledge, and propose potential future research areas.
Maximum 6,000 words
Short Communications: Concise papers that present significant preliminary findings or updates on research in progress. These papers are intended to quickly disseminate new ideas or partial results that are promising but not yet ready for a full-length original research paper. They should include a brief background, methodology, and initial discussion of the findings.
Maximum 3,000 words
Case Studies: Detailed analyses of specific real-world cases or unique instances in practice. These papers should focus on the context, methods, outcomes, and broader implications of the case being studied, offering insights into its applicability to broader practices or similar scenarios.
Maximum 4,500 words
Opinion and Perspective Papers: Authoritative essays that present well-founded opinions or theoretical perspectives on significant issues, trends, or ethical challenges in the field. These papers should be supported by references to relevant literature and should aim to provoke discussion or provide unique insights.
Maximum 2,500 words
Methodological Papers: Papers that detail innovative or significantly improved research methods, tools, or procedural approaches. These should include an explanation of the method's development, practical applications, limitations, and a comparative analysis to demonstrate its advantages over existing techniques.
Maximum 5,000 words
Technical Notes: Reports that focus on the practical aspects of new or refined techniques, devices, or procedural advancements. These should provide an explanation of the technical aspects, step-by-step guidance, and the significance of the innovation in practice.
Maximum 3,000 words
Formatting Guidelines:
Font: Times New Roman, 12-point for main text, 10-point for figure/table captions
Page size: 8.5" x 11" with 1-inch margins on all sides
Length: Maximum 20 pages (excluding references)
Figures: All figures and tables should be embedded within the document, labeled properly (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1), with captions directly below each figure/table.
Step 2: Confirm Submission Requirements

Manuscript must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

All data, text, and images must be original or properly cited.

References must be in APA format and listed at the end of the document.​
Step 3: Submit Your Manuscript

Complete the submission form.

Upload your manuscript directly in the form as instructed (.doc or .docx format).

Ensure all required contributor information is filled out, including institutional affiliations and contact details.
Step 4: Review Process
​Your manuscript will undergo a peer review, where reviewers will assess its clarity, originality, methodology, and contribution to the field of AI. You will receive feedback and suggestions, whether or not your submission is accepted for publication.
Step 5: Await Editorial Decision
Once the review process is complete, you will be notified of the editorial decision:
Accepted: Your manuscript will proceed to publication.
Minor Revisions Required: Make suggested revisions and resubmit.
Major Revisions Required: Significant changes are needed; resubmit for further review.
